LEICA ER 5 Riflescopes
Leica ER 6.5–26X56 LRS
Designed specifically for long range
shooting, the new ER 6.5–26 x 56 LRS gives you exceptionally high levels of
magnification, light transmission and contrast. In particular, minimal
colour-fringing ensures that images seen through the scope are of the best
optical quality, even at distance. Thanks to its finely tuned elevation
tracking, users can achieve absolute precision when sighting in and setting the
planned point of impact. What’s more, the ER 6.5–26 x 56 LRS has a large eye
relief, making it safer for use with calibres required for longer-range shots.
Leica ER i 2.5-10x42
The universal magnification range
enables the use of the Leica ER i 2.5-10x42 in almost all field sports
situations. With its light weight, slim construction and optional rapid reticle
adjustment (BDC), it is a great companion. The comfortable field of view and
outstanding optics guarantee your success, and the long eye relief makes a
significant contribution to shooting safety. The illuminated dot enables you to
easily see in twilight hours.
Leica ER i 3-12x50
Excellent optics, rugged
construction and illuminated reticles - the key attributes of the Leica ER i
series. Slim construction is a characteristic feature of both ER i riflescope
models. A short eyepiece and long tube provide plenty of latitude for precision
mounting on every type of rifle. The extra bright ER i 3-12x50 riflescope
features up to 12x magnification and establishes ideal pre-conditions for
precise shots at more distant targets. On request the ER i 3-12x50 can be
supplied with rapid reticle adjustment (BDC).
Reticles
Whether for a traditional use or competitive target shooting, a
shot on the fly or precise and considered marksmanship, near or at long
range – with Leica reticles, you can configure your riflescope just the
way you want. Our reticles are designed with the practical needs of a
wide range of situations in mind. All reticles are located in the second
focal plane and can be ordered with the optional BDC bullet drop
compensator system. A compatible lenshood is available as an innovative
accessory, and a new ballistics programme for BDC is available for
download, guaranteeing precise shooting every time.
Leica reticle 4a LRS without illuminated dot (ER)
Crosshair thickness: 0.12 in /3 mm
Application: Classic 4a reticle with reduced crosshair thickness for optimal target detectability at long distances
Leica Magnum ballistic reticle without illuminated dot (ER)
Crosshair thickness: 0.12 in /3 mm Distance between vertical guidelines:
1.9 in /5 cm
Application: Ballistic reticle for aerodynamic, strong calibers as e.g. .300 WinMag, .338 Lapua Mag or .270 WSM
Leica Ballistic reticle without illuminated dot (ER)
Crosshair thickness: 0.12 in /3 mm
Distance between vertical guidelines: 3.9 in /10 cm
Application: Classic ballistic reticle for normal hunting calibers as .308 or .270 Win
Reticle L-4a
With a crosshair thickness of 0.2 in/0.6 cm and distance between
horizontal posts of 55 in/140 cm, these are the universal reticles for
precision shooting.
Reticle L-Ballistic
With a crosshair thickness of 0.15 in/0.4 cm and distance between
vertical guidelines of 1.9 in/5 cm, these are the reticles for precise
shots at longer distances. Line/dot markings enable sighting on the
target with the necessary ballistic trajectory correction without the
need to change the reticle setting, as long as the distance to the
target and ballistic characteristics of the ammunition used are known.
BDC – Bullet drop compensator
The BDC lets you adjust the reticle to various shooting
distances. Using the calibrations, the reticle can be set so that the
exact impact point is guaranteed on the target. Elevation and lateral
adjustment can also be corrected for. The BDC is easy to use and
functions with absolute precision in all weather conditions.
Direct Dial
With a “direct dial ring”, Leica’s BDC works even more quickly
and intuitively. Simply replace the standard engraved ring with a ring
featuring range information, and start selecting the precise shooting
distance. With 12 different rings to choose from, you can pick the
best-fit one for your caliber and load.
Ballistics programme for Leica rapid reticle adjustment (BDC)
Thanks to a new ballistics programme, the performance of Leica
rapid reticle adjustment (BDC) has been even further improved. The
programme calculates the precise reticle adjustment value required on
the basis of charge and distance parameters. Perfect in combination with
Leica laser rangefinders, its simple handling guarantees precisely
placed shots every time and in full compliance with the principles of
ethical hunting. Hunters can always aim point blank and have no need to
set their sights above the game at longer distances.
