Description
The TSN-774 is the straight, PROMINAR version of Kowa’s 77-mm spotting scope, meaning it’s made with the XD, low-dispersion, fluorite ion glass for maximum light-throughput with minimal chromatic aberration. The internal focus system allows for a tight prism housing design, keeping the length to a compact 12.0 inches, and the TSN-774 has a magnesium alloy frame that limits the weight to less than 47 oz. The Kowa TSN-774 scope comes with a dual focus system (separate knobs for coarse and fine focusing), an eyepiece-locking system and a tripod mount that adapts for either a 1/4- or 3/8-inch mounting screw. The TSN-774 is readily adapted for digiscoping through the use of Kowa’s special adapters. Completely waterproof and nitrogen-purged to be internally fog-proof, the TSN-774 spotting scope is also made with Kowa’s environmentally-friendly Eco-Glass.
